Lorena lives and works in Los Angeles where she teaches in the Communication Department at Cal Poly Pomona. She studied Studio Art, Communications, and Sociology at universities in Massachusetts, New Mexico, Oregon and New York City. Her general interests are identity in people and place, history and photography's indexical properties.
Lorena has published books on Michael Jackson impersonator subculture, graphic design for public relations practitioners and is currently working on an inclusive book about global graphic designers.
